As Black Men have expressed the complexity of their relationships with their mother/mother-figure, this eight session workshop helps to unpack and express the emotions involved with manhood and the teachings of their mother. This builds the bridge between love and resolution to cultivate healing.

Our life experiences are not only kept in our minds, but also in our bodies. Therefore, this yoga workshop will focus on how to liberate our bodies from the experiences we have endured, specifically around intimacy, relationships, and love.

This annual series of workshops provide training on emotional intelligence and reflection for college-aged students. This will complement college initiatives focusing on mentorship, academic achievement, community service, and retention. This initiative includes training of leadership, and reflective workshops for the students as well as an end-of year showcase featuring the participants of the program.
